Harbin Institute of Technology Launches Top International Robotics Journal SmartBot with Global Ambitions

Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) has partnered with Wiley Publishing Group to launch the international academic journal SmartBot (English Edition). The inaugural issue was officially released globally in March 2025.
The journal boasts an international editorial board of 49 members, including 26 academicians from China and abroad, representing 20 countries and regions. SmartBot aims to establish itself as a high-impact, efficient, and high-quality platform for cutting-edge robotics research, fostering global academic exchange.

Executive Editor: Prof. Li Longqiu (HIT)
Editorial Board: Includes academicians such as Zheng Nanning, Yang Huayong, Ding Han, Wang Yaonan, Wang Shuxin, and Zhang Jianwei, alongside fellows from IEEE, ASME, and other global institutions, ensuring academic rigor and global influence.
Inaugural Issue Highlights
The first issue of SmartBot focuses on “Frontiers and Paradigm Shifts in Intelligent Robotics”, featuring one editorial and five authoritative reviews by leading scholars from China, Switzerland, Germany, and Japan.
